Testing
A certificate of analysis (COA) is a document from a laboratory reporting the results of defined tests on a specific batch. This page explains how NZT-369 intends to test and document batches, and is clear about what does not exist yet.
What a COA tells you
A genuine COA is batch-specific: it identifies the product and batch, the tests performed and their results, and the laboratory that issued it. It is not a general marketing document, and it should not be reused for a different batch.
Our intended testing process
- identity confirmation against the product specification;
- microbiological screening;
- heavy-metals screening;
- any further tests the specification or market requires.
Each batch is to be assigned an identifier (for example a code of the form NZT-F-0001), recorded against the product version, manufacture date and best-before date, with a status of released, recalled or archived.
What is available today
There is no batch lookup and no published certificate of analysis on this site yet, because production has not started. We will not publish a stand-in document or an invented report. When genuine documents exist, they will be listed against the relevant batch here and on the quality page.
Laboratories
Testing is to be carried out by qualified third-party laboratories. We will name a laboratory only accurately and with its permission, so we do not list laboratory names here before that is agreed.
